Plasma sculpting, neon, etc.

i sadly missed out on an incredible workshop that took place at Urban Glass last spring on sculpting with boro, using plasma, and other gases, etc.

does anyone know of a workshop/course on Plasma Sculpture near Toronto, CA? if not, has anyone been to the Crucible in the SF Bay Area?

Ed Kirshner and Christian Schiess teach a Plasma Sculpture class at The Crucible in Oakland, CA a few times a year. The next class will probably not be scheduled until late Fall or Winter but you can double check with them directly.

Ed Kirshner is also teaching a 2 week course(Glass and Gas Plasma Sculpture) at The Glass Furnace in Turkey from Sept 21 to October 4th 2008. Here is the link for more information:
