I have always loved having a lot of house plants but my favorite are flowering types. You just have to love when the African Violets explode in to bloom with new growth and vigor.

I purchased these over a year ago, but they did not bloom last summer but this year looks real good, they probably just needed a rest.

Beautiful, Clive! I've never had any kind of luck with African Violets. These are simply gorgeous!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, how pretty! I had one African Violet plant that just loved to bloom... she lasted several years, and then when I tried to transplant her, she died. You've reminded me why I should get another!

My African Violets are not photo ready at the moment but I have this dendrobium that's looking pretty cheerful right now while I stare out the window and see more snow fall.

Absolutely gorgeous you guys. My mom used to actually "breed" African Violets and show them. I adored the micro minis and am sure they influenced my love of creating flowers very tiny in glass.

That dendrobium is in it's full glory too!! sigh!

Great pix
