Howdy Friends,
Wanna try Glass Painting? This Fall I'm offering two scheduled sessions as listed below. Also, in response to your requests for more flexible workshop dates, I am now also scheduling a series of semi- private sessions which will be held on dates which are set at YOUR convenience. Each semi-private session will have a maximum of two students and will run for 5 days. Your week of study can include either the ARTISTIC TRADITIONAL GLASS PAINTING AND VITRI-FUSÁILLE TECHNIQUE program, the INDEPENDENT STUDY/ADVANCED VITRI-FUSÁILLE and PAINTING program, or the new TRADITIONAL PORTRAIT PAINTING FOR RELI GIOUS SUBJECTS. These semi-private sessions offer students a far greater level of personal attention and productivity than can be found in the larger group sessions. And because you get to choose the dates to attend you can study glass painting when you want.
FALL GROUP SESSION OFFERINGS (scheduled / 4 students per session)
SEPT 6 - 10 ARTISTIC TRADITIONAL GLASS PAINTING AND VITRI-FUSÁILLE TECHNIQUE.
5 day intensive. No experience necessary. Fundamental overview of all the glass painting techniques with an emphasis on creative problem solving for a variety of aesthetic approaches. Techniques include tracing, matting, and the use of silver stains, enamels, and Vitri-Fusáille technique. Presented via several formula projects as well as an individual show piece by each student.. This is a fantastic class for anyone who is interested in learning as much as they possibly can in a single workshop. TUITION: $875
SEPT 20 - 24 INDEPENDENT STUDY/ADVANCED VITRI-FUSÁILLE and PAINTING.
5 day intensive. This is a great class for those of you who have already completed the artistic painting program. Students will focus on developing their own individual design styles via more complex studio projects. An emphasis is placed on specific painting approaches for a variety of experimental formats. Perfect for painters of any level who have had time to practice the basics and want to take their artwork up a notch!. (This class can also be taken as an extension of the May 11-15 Artistic class.) Tuition: $875
SEMI-PRIVATE OFFERINGS (by special arrangement / 2 student max. per session))
Scheduled as 5 day sessions whenever the classroom is available. Limit of two students per session. Area of study can include anything from the following list of programs. Currently taking reservations for sessions between July - November 2010.
TUITION : $ 1,500 per person (limited to 2 students per session)
