Can I use a plaster mold to blow glass? Regular paster of Paris?

I read that clay, wood, or metal are used... this fellow seems to use plaster:

#1 pottery plaster is better with a little silica added to help strengthen the mold. at any rate you will get two or three good blows before you start loosing detail....good Luck!

Only two or three? Mmm, that's not a lot. I was hoping to make a production item.
