The glacial valley opened up as we came out of a tunnel, we could see the half-dome and the Bridal Veil Falls in the distance, truly spectacular. A lot of fun hikes along cascading creeks and topped by falls over granite walls.

I have visited many National Parks, this one was by far the most crowded.

The Tuolumne Meadows was delightful, as as our hike to May Lake, a highlight on account of the spectacular alpine flower displays.

I brought some Ghirardelli chocolates back from San Fran - all gifts to the people that took care of my house and business when I was away.
