Just a note... I've used a lot of colors, and this is the first time I've encountered an incompatibility issue. The color in question is Reichenbach's R-16, "Saffron."
I made one big piece that completely cracked in the annealer last year.
I used it again this summer, and again I have a 6-inch crack from the annealer. The crack is from within the bowl, and doesn't spread across to the outside.
So let that be a warning if you want to use that color... test it first!
